    I’m running the same wordpress theme on two different sites. On one, I added a “full width” template for pages. I can no longer change the theme under option. Only possibility of disruption was that I briefly changed index.html to home.html, I also tried adding a blog.php template (which has been removed). Also: the pages that were saved to that template still show full width.

    I’ve tried: mac, pc, various browsers, clearing cache, deleting template and readding, deleting index.php and readding.

    When I add the template to my other blog w/ same theme it shows up no problem.

    Any ideas?

  • <?php
    /*
    Template Name: Page Template
    */
    ?>

    Do you have this at the top of the template?

    Yes.

    As mentioned, the template was working perfectly earlier, and still works when I upload it to my other domain with same theme.

    Not really a “solution”, however this worked:

    1) Change appearance -> theme to anything else
    2) Change back to “clear-house” theme

    Page attributes now shows templates again.
