• We are using zotpress for our references but unfortunately, the disambiguation never works.
We have tried a lot of different Zotero’ styles and none of them succeed in disambiguating references where the disambiguation worked while using Zotero Word add-in.

    Styles tested:
    – The Open University – M801 – Research Project and Dissertation
    – Other that could also work are:
    – Climate change economics
    – United nations conference on trade and development
    – The Design Journal
    – International Energy Agency – Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
    – Biometrics

I did not find other post related to this issue, could you please help us?

    Thank a lot.

What do you mean by disambiguation?

It’s when multiple references have the same combinaison “Author/Year” Zotero automatically applies a suffix to distinguish the references.

    For example:

OECD (2011). Strategic Transport Infrastructure Needs to 2030: Main Findings OECD.
OECD (2011). Environmental Impacts of International Shipping: The Role of Ports. OECD Publishing.

    Should appear like this:
OECD (2011a). Strategic Transport Infrastructure Needs to 2030: Main Findings OECD.
OECD (2011b). Environmental Impacts of International Shipping: The Role of Ports. OECD Publishing.

Okay, gotcha. Next step is: What shortcode(s) are you using?

Intext shortcode like [zotpressInText item=”B8SK3M7H”] and [zotpressInTextBib sortby=”author” order=”asc”] for the biblio.
