• Hello,
Ive recently installed a new theme (Khore by showthemes) on my website, I didnt know back then that this theme removes the browsers scrolling and instead implements a Javascript called “Nicescroll” and while quite nice with a mouse its useless with trackpads and touchscreens and even terrible on some android phones.

long story short: I need to get rid of it
    Website in question:
    https://gymn2016.apps-1and1.net/participate

When I simply delete the Files (jquery.nicescroll.js and jquery.nicescroll.min.js), scrolling stops working entirely, so i guess i need to do some deeper css work :/

Im not a Web Developer / Designer by any means but I’m willing to learn.
unfortunately I dont know where to start exactly.

Any Help to remove this script would be really appreciated.

    Robin

That gave me a smile ?? It also stops me from helping some people on the www.remarpro.com forums because I cannot use their website with my laptop.

Argh your website is built in a way that it almost must have its own scrolling. Surely not! If you know CSS; The majority of the page content has been absolutely positioned, so it doesn’t follow a natural flow in the page. The normal scrollbar should appear on things if they’re naturally placed.

Is there no other way you can contact your theme authors/ vendors?

Unfortunately no. I misread some things when I was buying the Theme and I didnt choose the support package so I cant submit Tickets, or ask the devs. I also dont want to purchase any Support Package for 50€ because so far I’ve been utterly disappointed with this 90$ (!!!) Theme
