Disabling the icon and admin link in the “Reporting” interface for the Editors

    Hello,

    Thanks for the incredibly cool plugin. I have a quick question.

    How can I disable the icon and administration link in the Reporting interface for users with the “Editor” role?

    I have selected “View” rights in the plugin settings for Editors, but now I need to disable the ability to access any settings for these users from the “Reporting” interface.

    To make it clear to you what I’m talking about, I made two screenshots.
    One screenshot shows which icon I want to remove, the other screenshot shows which page I want to disable.

    @sergeyf1 it’s not possible to hide this icon and the other pages unfortunately. Are you maybe familiar with WordPress and coding? If so, I could look if there’s maybe a way to disable this using some custom code.

    If you have a custom theme you could technically hide the icon for editors potentially using CSS but they could still access the pages directly. Note that these alerts and reports are all on a “user level” so they wouldn’t be able to edit the reports or alerts of others.

    Thank you for your reply. Yes, if it is possible, can you suggest custom code that would allow to hide this icon?

    I’m also considering hiding this element through CSS, but I can’t find the right class in CSS, maybe a different way to do it would be better and more reliable.

    I will be grateful for your hints.

    Hi Thomas,

    I hid the logo and the settings icon in the “Reporting” interface using CSS. Therefore, this issue is no longer relevant. I’m marking this topic as resolved.

    Also, I just recently started a new thread on the forum that deals with a really serious problem with the display of statistics charts. To solve this problem, I can’t do without your help yet
