disabling "save image as" feature

  • when you hover your mouse over a certain image that is embedded in a blog post (or in a page), if you right-click on your mouse you will get an option to “save image as” – which essentially lets people save any copyrighted image off of your blog on their computer.

    is there any way to disable that feature?

    Sorry but no way to do this and even if you could, any user could easily press the print-screen button and copy/save any of your images/photos.

    Best solution is to watermark them by inserting your logo for example.
    If some guys upload on their sites some of your images, everyone will know it’s coming from your site.
    If they use Photoshop to remove your watermark, they might spend so much time, they won’t do it for more than 1 or 2 images…
