Disabling Rest-API disables it in admin too

  • Hi, thank you for a great plugin! I installed it yesterday, but had to re-enable REST-API because, when it’s disabled by the plugin, it won’t allow me to save or publish a post through WP back end interface. Logged in as admin.

    Error I get is a 403 forbidden on
    wp-json/wp/v2/categories/1?context=edit&_locale=user

    I have current version of WP, Elementor Pro, ACF Pro, Yoast clone post setup (interestingly, the ACF fields get saved & I can clone a post – it’s the post content and title (standard WP) that cannot be updated.

    Hosting is standard shared LiteSpeed server environment, PHP 8.1.18 MYSQL 10.3.38.

    This is true for both the standard WP posts and my custom post type.
