Disabling nesting after particular depth

Hi,

I’ve seen that it’s possible to prevent nesting entirely using the plugin settings for particular post types, but what I’m after is to allow only parent and child level page hierarchy, with child pages not allowed grandchildren (so two depths basically, nothing deeper).

Is this possible through a theme function at all, and would Nested pages respect this?

I’m using the plugin for WordPress Pages only, no other post type, so they’re hierarchical as standard.
