Disabling link to comments

  • Hi guys and gals,
    I notice that when you disable comments for an individual post this only removes the form for writing comments in. The link or button to comments remains at the foot of the post. I’d like to make that disappear as well. But, of course, be present on those posts that have comments enabled.

    I cant find a plugin that does this. Does anyone know of one?
    I suspect it would be a relatively straight forward modification in the PHP files but I’m no programmer. Could someone give me an idea of what to do?
