    Hello Jeff,

This question is not closely tied to your plugin, but let me ask you -as an expert- in this topic about, whether you know any ways for being able to disable size generation for specific images?

Case: i have some image which i want to retain full size on mobile, so users can zoom in and see all details properly. How would you solve this problem? All other images should stay default (thumbnails generated, srcset added etc.)

Maybe with some hooks and hacks can do this? I just need some pointers..

Any idea maybe? Thank you so much ??
    Best wishes,
    Wiktor

Hey Wiktor, glad to help. Check out “Disable Other Sizes” in my article, How to Disable WordPress Automatically Generated Images. Should help you out ??

I know what Wiktor was asking about and I’m also on the hunt for something similar. What I think we need is image upload sizes based on where they are gonna be used or per image case. I am uploading store images that need to be certain sizes but when I upload blog images they don’t need to be store image sizes. I’ll keep looking but might be a future idea.
