Disabling comments in Carousel

    Just giving the carousel gallery a whirl and discovered that it contains a comments section when the carousel displays the images. The only information I’ve found on getting rid of the comments is an article from 2013 on the Jetpack site.

    Is this still valid here in 2016 before I go playing around with it?
