Disabling avatar

    I’m sorry but I didn’t follow you. bbPress uses the same WordPress built-in avatar system. wpDiscuz uses it too. So bbPress and wpDiscuz comment avatars should be the same.

    Hi,

    yes, I know they use same avatar system. Many blog owners – like me – would like to enable blog commenting for anonymous users. Since most comments will be anonymous anyway there is really no point in enabling logging in and avatars. bbPress forums are totally different thing and it’s good practice enable avatars there.

    It would be nice if your plugin had a switch to disable them from blog comments. I know it’s possible to remove them with some css but I don’t know how to do it. I tried but didn’t like the result. I managed to remove image but then there was empty space :/

    How about the option “Show Avatars” in Dashboard > Discussions admin page? Have you tried that?

    That option disables avatars from bbPress too
