• In the “Internal Links” section of the settings, I have enabled “Posts” and “Pages” internal linking, but have not selected “allow self linking” for either option.

However, the plugin seems to be self-linking anyway.

Ex: The page links the “residential property” keyword on the residential property page.

I also seem to be having this issue with anchor links.

Ex: On the same residential property page, I have an anchor link to scroll to the apartment section. However, the page and even anchor section are still self-linking.

Other settings I have selected for SEO Auto Linker:

    Internal Links Section
    – Posts enable
    – Pages enable
    – Max links 0
    – Max keyword links 2
    – Max same URLs 0

    Excluding
    – Heading exclude
    – Single posts / pages only enable

    Targeting
    – Posts enabled
    – Pages Enabled
    – Minimum categories / tags 1

    Thank you,

  • I have the same problem. It’s a wrong logical definition in code.
A workaround is unchecking “Prevent duplicates” to solve the problem.

I’m probably blind but I’m not seeing a selection box for “Prevent Duplicates.” I have the most current v. 1.1 installed if that helps.

    Thank you!
