  • I’ll have to experiment with the setup you describe. Is this a new problem, or something you just recently noticed? Mike

This was partly my mistake. A rather elementary mistake.

When I made it so that the post with the embedded doc would appear under a tab instead of the front page, it indeed showed just the embed code, and not the embedded doc. But when I clicked on the title, the entire post appeared on its own page, and the embedded doc showed up.

Glad you figured it out. We’ve all made easy mistakes at some point or other.
