Hello and thank you for the wonderful plugin! Looks like enabling this plugin (and not even using it) somehow disables CF7 client side validation, eg.. without the conditional plugin, as soon as you focus out a field that has been incorrectly filled, it throws an error, while when activating the plugin the error handling is only triggered upon form submission.

    Any way to fix this?

    Yep, it’s a known problem. See: https://github.com/pwkip/contact-form-7-conditional-fields/issues/93

I haven’t got to it yet, so I wouldn’t expect a fix too soon, but thanks for bringing it to my attention. Feel free to also share your thoughts and follow the github issue.

Hello and thank you for your reply! Until you do that maybe you could implement a quick fix, like for example not loading the respective js code if conditionals are not used in a form.

In my usecase I am using conditionals functionality in 1 of the 2 forms on the website. So, for the one that is not using conditionals at all, client-side validation is missing due to the conditionals script needlessly being loaded.

    Just a thought!

Yes, makes sense. Will take care of it in an upcoming update.
