I’ve got a customer’s site where I’m cleaning up someone else’s work. The page was throwing an SSL error due to the path for a custom icon in Ultimate Social Media Plus – Free Edition. I thought I could disable/remove the icon and upload again now that the site paths have been corrected. Disabling the custom icon did not stop it from displaying on the frontend. In fact, disabling and adding it again has resulted in having 2 custom icons showing up – these are both disabled in the backend of the site. Help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thank you for reporting this. Could you please clear cache? By that, I mean…

    – The browser cache, see https://www.solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-cache-1
    – Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily, and check if it’s ok now

I disabled and enabled the plug-in a couple of times and deleted and re-linked the custom icon and somehow the front end looks correct. The order of the icons shows 4 copies of the custom icon in the backend as if they are still there. Had cleared the cache a couple of times – guess I’m just too impatient. Working as intended now – thanks!
