Disabled author role

    is there a chance to prevent the user from login but still have him as an author on the author-sitemap.xml file?

    Members does not have such a feature, I’m afraid, but you can prevent users from access to <span class=”prokeys-snippet-text”>WordPress Dashboard</span>.
