Disable wpDiscuz toolbar menu

As mentioned in that comment, that’s going to work only after the server loads the toolbar with wpdiscuz and not really help reduce the performance load of the dropdown.

Do you have anything that might work to stop the insertion of the toolbar menu entirely on the server side?

Add this code in the active theme functions.php file:

if(function_exists('wpDiscuz')){
    $wpdiscuz = wpDiscuz();
    remove_action('admin_bar_menu', [$wpdiscuz,'addToolbarItems'],300);
}
