Disable WordPress Default comments for Specific Post Categories

    I am using the GeneratePress theme.

    When I added the Site Reviews to a page, both the reviews and the defualut WP comments show up.

    When I uncheck the box to allow comments in WP Dashboard posts, it disables the comments and the Site Reviews.

    The comment system is handled by WordPress core and not by the theme.

    How can I disable the comments and keep the reviews on my posts?

    I also would like to have the specific posts in a cateogry show the default wordpress comments appear amd not have the Site Reviews show up.

    How can I do this as well?

    Site Reviews does not use the WordPress comment system for reviews. Check your page builder. You probably have added the Site Reviews shortcodes to the wrong page template.
