Disable user registration email

    Can anyone tell me how to disable the email that’s send to the USER (not the admin) upon signing up on a WordPress site?

    You know, the one which sends a link to sitename.co.uk/wp-login.php and the username/ password they just registered with?

    I did do a lot of searching prior to coming here but couldn’t find anything relevant (or upto date)
