Disable url rewrites (permalinks) for a specifc custom rss feed

I have written a plugin that creates a custom rss feed using site.com/?feed=custom and can add custom parameters like site.com/?feed=custom&category_name=music , but need to remove the rewrite function where it turns the URL into site.com/category/music/feed/custom . Specifically, How can I disable the url rewrite function for a specific custom feed or a rss feed in general? I still want url rewrites (permalinks) to work on the front end of the site as expected.
