Disable translation of certain directories?

Hi,
Is it possible to disable the translation of certain directories?
For instance, we have a downloads directory, but only in English.
So if Transposh adds a language directory to a URL, it is broken.
For instance, [domain].com/downloads/pdf.pdf works, but
[domain].com/downloads/fr/pdf.pdf does not work.
What is the best workaround for this?
