    Hi folks,

Is there an easy way to have a parent menu item in the native wordpress menu system not link to a page? I’d like just the child items to point to pages, and the parent item just to open the submenu if possible.

  • Normally this can be handled by making a custom menu, assigning it to the primary menu location, and then adding in the menu items you want to display. For the parent menu item that you don’t want to go to a page, insert a custom link and use “#” for the URL/link. And there you go, a menu item that goes nowhere.
