disable tags

  • how can i disable tagging?

    i’d like the Tags field on the ‘Write Post’ page to be hidden until i decide the best way to integrate tagging into the workflows of my client’s internal blogs.

    are post writing and editing the only places in WP 2.3 that the Tagging feature appears?

    if so, and if there isn’t a ‘tag off switch’ somewhere, all i should need to do is edit the post-new.php and post.php files to hide the Tags field, correct?
