disable skypeCheckNotice window

  • Hi, the skypeCheck is done by the script provided by Skype itself. There is no option in the plugin to turn it off. Normally (read: on Windows machines) the skypeCheck works fine and the message does not pop up when Skype is installed. So if it does, this means the script cannot detect Skype properly like it should.

    What OS are you using? The script is known to fail on Linux for example… And since Skype is now part of Microsoft, it’s unlikely they will ever release a fixed skypeDetect script ??

    Hi , I am on Windows 8 and also facing the same problem. Hope for a solution.
