Disable single posts and keep only homepage

  • The theme I’m working on only requires to show posts in the homepage, I don’t need the single page since every post is pretty much only a thumbnail with a short text, so I just removed the links to the post from the loop.

    The problem I’m facing is that I added various badges to the homepage, above the loop, facebook share, stumbleupon, reddit, g+ and so on, they all catch the the latest post permalink so whenever someone shares my page it goes to the post instead.

    How do I fix this?

  • try to put redirect to homepage in single page template code.

    I added the redirect to my htaccess, I’m not familiar with single page template redirect you are talking about.

    Just wondering where the badges get the latest permalink, I don’t see it in the source of the page.
