  • If you’d like, you may add me on Skype (daniel.fonda)

I can have a look at it if you’d like.

I appreciate you going out of your way but unfortunately I do not have a webcam.

I’m baffled. If we deleted the sidebar code in the php then it should be impossible that it is still there.

    Ok so get this…

I make the page visible in the menu
and past the code in my page.php
and create custom fields to disableSidebar with a true value

    AND IT WORKS!!!

It has to be something to do with my search bar.

Maybe there are settings for the search bar that are making the sidebar appear?? I have no idea

    Didn’t mean to webcam lol
Meant for you to setup a temporary account so that I could have a look as to what’s going on (don’t think you’d be comfortable sending login info publicly in a forum).

Honestly I would just double check if the search.php in your child theme has the line removed. Also if you have more than one theme, make sure you’re editing the right one (sounds silly, but this has happened to me one too many times lol).

That makes absolutely no sense lol
You’re referring to what’s on your live server or are you working locally?

    On my live server.

I’m logged into my control panel editing the code straight from there

Oh. Cuz I can still see the sidebar, even though I’m positive that the search.php file that I’ve pasted earlier shouldn’t be outputting that.
    I’m baffled.

I’m sorry, I’m having the hardest time acquainting myself on skype. I just created the account and I do not see any message board or forum or any way to add you as a contact.

I’m not familiar with this communication platform.

An alternative is Facebook if you’d like xD

    ??

    check your other folder please

Issue resolved by disabling a couple of plugins which weren’t being used.

The search results page was using the page.php file, which made it so that the changes weren’t affecting the results page as intended.

Please mark the topic as resolved when you get a chance ??

    Cheers
