What can I add to my functions.php to disable the new seller setup wizard? The Disable Welcome Wizard in general site options isn’t working (wizard still shows even though the box is checked). I’ve tried troubleshooting, but I will never need the wizard and a simple fix would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello @lisagem

Thanks for reaching out to us.

By default, you can disable the vendor welcome wizard from wp-admin-> Dokan-> Settings-> General and enable this option “Disable Welcome Wizard for newly registered vendors” and save the changes like this: https://snipboard.io/XP1s5i.jpg.

Even if the issue persists, kindly contact us directly through our website we will get back to you and help you soon.

@jahidulhassan I have archived your reply. Your account is already flagged so when you @ a user here they do not get an email.

While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.

    Hi @lisagem,

It looks like there might have a conflict on your site. So, this will need to check if that is coming from any theme or plugin. Please make sure that you’ve already done the conflict test. If you haven’t yet, please follow the below procedures for testing purposes.

    • Please deactivate all plugins except the Dokan and WooCommerce.
    • If the above method doesn’t resolve your problem, go for the next.

    • Switched to any default theme like Twenty Twenty or Storefront.
    • Clear your site cache as well as the browser cache and try the process again.

Please let us know if you are still having the problem.

    Thanks!
