How can I disable sending information in product weight (shipping_weight)?

Is it possible to delete some code section in the plugin to do this?

    Hello Kazakbaev,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

I would advise against modifying the plugin code directly, as any changes will be overwritten with future updates, and it could lead to unexpected issues with the plugin’s functionality.

Could you share more details about what you’re trying to achieve by removing the product weight information? Once I have a clearer understanding of your goal, I can suggest a more suitable alternative that avoids modifying the plugin code.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

When you don’t specify the shipping cost in the “Merchant Center”, Google sets a very high shipping cost. If you set the shipping cost, it will indicate the numbers you specified. This doesn’t suit me, since my shipping cost depends on the weight, size, and also on the type of settlement (large city, small city, urban-type settlement, village). If Google doesn’t receive information about the weight of the goods, it simply shows “+ shipping”. That’s exactly what I need.

Ahead of a possible answer: the API doesn’t suit me, a regular user.

    Hello Kazakbaev,

    Thank you for your reply.

The Shipping information is part of the General Requirements.
At the moment Google for WooCommerce provides these options for Shipping Information.

My shipping cost depends on the weight, size, and also on the type of settlement (large city, small city, urban-type settlement, village).

WooCommerce has all the features to meet your requirements.
You can configure shipping costs based on weight, size, and region.
I recommend that you have a look at this WooCommerce guide for configuring shipping.
After that, you can choose the Recommended option in Google for WooCommerce settings.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you have more questions or concerns.

I know about delivery regions, they are not suitable.
I will explain in more detail.
There are more than two dozen delivery regions.
In each of them there are large cities, there are medium-sized ones, there are small ones, there are small ones with conditional city status (but are not cities), there are villages. And so in each delivery region.
The cost of delivery does not depend on the region, but on the type of city or village.

    Hello Kazakbaev,

    Thank you for your reply.

Based on your description, it sounds like you need a more advanced shipping solution that takes into account city size rather than just delivery regions.

For such complex requirements, a custom-coded solution would indeed be the best approach. This could involve categorizing cities and towns based on their size and then applying shipping costs accordingly.

I recommend reaching out to a developer who can tailor this functionality to your needs. WooExperts and Codeable are great places to find professionals experienced in custom WooCommerce development.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards.

I think I’ll stop using the Google for WooCommerce plugin. I found a few other plugins that are more flexible. Sorry for wasting your time. Thanks for trying to help.
