Disable rowspan/colspan on mobile

    Hi,

    First off thanks for such a great plugin. I’ve been using it for sometime to display most of the data on my site for a fantasy like football league. I have just started a mobile version of the site and after many trial and tribulations have found that the responsive function of the mobile them (Graphene Neo) works well when there are no rowspan or colspan used. However, for my full site using these functions makes the tables appear nicer and easier to read. Is there a way that I can disable rowspan and colspan only when viewed from a mobile device? If you can suggest code for this it would be helpful, but please bear in mind I am a novice at websites as I do this only to organize the info for some friends.

    thanks for your question.

    I’m very sorry, but that’s not possible, unfortunately. The reason is that the table HTML code (that includes the rowspan/colspan) is created on the server, and it is not possible to accurately determine the used device there, and to then alter the HTML code ??

    Now, I’d really like to see that responsive function of your theme as it works on tables (and what the problem is with rowspan/colspan). So, if you would create a temporary account for me, that would be great. My email address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.
