• Hello – is there a quick way to disable the right-swipe open menu? I have a slider that also allows right-swipe to nav through slides so these are conflicting.

  • I would also love to have the right-swipe disabled.

    Well, due to the lack of response from the theme author, I dug into his JavaScript. The slideout menu uses a library that has an option to disable the slideout touch part of the functionality.

    You will need to modify the custom.js file in the js/ directory of the theme. Search for Slideout, find the section that starts like the code below, then add the “‘touch’:false” line as shown. That will stop the touch slideout. The menu button will still work.

    Hopefully it works for you too. Let me know.

    var slideout = new Slideout({
    'panel': document.getElementById('page'),
    'menu': document.getElementById('mobile-static-menu'),
    'padding': 256,
    'tolerance':70,
    'touch':false
    });

    Thanks for investigating Duuk – happy to add the coding in as advised above to solve this issue as I want to remove this function as well. Sorry if this is an obvious question but just to be clear will this also disable the right-swipe open menu on a mobile device? And under which sub-heading in editor will I find custom.js? I can only see .php files for each section of coding. Thanks for the help ??
