For some reason I am noticing attempts to preload drafts and possibly other pages while logged as admin. See example:

    /?page_id=87548&wpacu_preload=1

I am assuming it is bug as it is logged as 404 in the logs. I am using php 8 if relevant. If there is another way to disable preloading that would be great.

@dan14 indeed, after you update a post and use the Classic Editor plugin, the preview will trigger. I haven’t noticed it on Gutenberg if the post is saved without page reload. And yes, it’s a bug. It shouldn’t happen for drafts and it makes useless extra calls. After all, it’s a performance plugin and it should not do this kind of thing. The Pro version is having the same problem.

I’ll have this fixed as soon as possible and update you here. Also, note that this is a harmless thing and it shouldn’t affect the user experience in any way. It’s just an extra useless call that was somehow left behind.

@dan14 I just updated the development version which has the fix ?? Here’s how to get it: https://www.assetcleanup.com/docs/how-to-get-the-development-version-of-asset-cleanup/

Thank you for the fast response. Well I am using the pro version and the regular version on a different site. Can I use the development version to replace the pro version?

@dan14 in this case, re-download the Pro version from the members area. Login to your account and you will have the download link there ?? I would re-send you the purchase receipt, but I don’t have your email address and it’s not ideal to share it here.

Thank you for the prompt response.

I have the receipt somewhere in my emails, I will find it. I will login to the member area (cant right now) soon and re-download the pro version.

    Thank you for the support.
