Disable preloader

    I have disabled the preloader for our website. But I was wondering if the preloader was powered by javascript. If it is, can the java script be completely removed? if so, which script should be deleted? Also, does a disabled preloader have any adverse effect on page speed (in theory or actuality)?

    it is javascript yes.
    Removing it completely from the theme would require advanced coding modifications.

    It’s a very lightweight script (2.7KB). It won’t affect your page speed at all if you just disabled it.
