    Hi,

I recently upgraded to Pretty Links Pro 3.0 and this review plugin is causing some errors to happen with my Pretty Links.

I contacted Pretty Link support and they said since the new links use Custom Post Types WP Product Review Lite is causing problems with it.

Is there a way to disable WP Product Review Lite on custom post types?

@dylanhoulihan can you please describe the problem that our plugin is causing?

@rozroz Hey, so it’s a bit hard to explain… basically since Pretty Links is using a custom post type for the links now, whenever I try to edit or create a new Pretty Link, it seems to be causing a glitch where Pretty Links thinks the Target URL for the link is empty (even if it’s not).

I contacted Pretty Links support for this and they went through my site and told me it’s because WP Product Review Lite is interfering.

Then they told me to reach out to you guys to see if it was possible to disable WP Product Reviews on custom post types.

@rozroz I work with the Pretty Links team. If you’d like to work together on this please reach out to Paul or Ally at https://prettylinks.com/contact/

I’m having the same issue as the gentleman above.

@dylanhoulihan we currently don’t have an option to switch it off on post types but we will add this in our development pipeline.

@ande1352 are you also using pretty links? If not, please create a new thread for your issue.

@cartpauj thanks. I’ll contact you there to understand the conflict.

Yes, I’m using Pretty Links. Exact same issue.

    Hello,

after new 3.0.1 pretty links update I get a conflict with wp product review and pretty links. I got the the following error message while updating my pretty links:

    Fix the following errors:
    Target URL can’t be blank

Is there any chance to get it fixed?

    Best regards

@cartpauj looks like something has gone wrong with your recent update and its causing an unintended conflict with our plugin. Can you see if this needs to be fixed at your end?

@rozroz ?Both Pretty Links and WP Product Review Lite use an <input name=”url”> on the Edit Pretty Link page, which is causing the conflict. We will be releasing an update soon to fix the issue within Pretty Links (by adding a prefix to the name).

@chekki @ande1352 @dylanhoulihan we will be adding a suitable fix too in our next version. I hope this clears the issue ??

Thanks, it works in 3.0.3! ??
