disable “please enter 3 or more characters” on Attributes

    Hi,

    recently when i’m adding a new product to my store I notice when trying to pic attributes that it asked me to ” please enter 3 or more characters” in the field. The problem many of my attributes are less than 3 characters.

    Can this feature be disabled as many of my attributes are XS, S, M, L or XL

    Or sizes such as 34, 38, 40 etc.

    I can see how this is meant to help us but it seems to be more of an obstactle.

In this update, we have removed the minimum character limit for product attributes, which means you should be able to use attributes such as XS, S, M, L, XL, or sizes like 34, 38, 40, etc. without any issues.

    To resolve this, you need to update your WooCommerce to the latest version. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.

    3. Find ‘WooCommerce‘ in your list of installed plugins.
    4. Click the ‘Update Now‘ link right beneath ‘WooCommerce‘.

    Once you’ve successfully updated to WooCommerce Version 8.0.2, you should be able to add attributes of any length to your products without any obstacles.
