What is it you’re trying to accomplish? Forget about pasting code right now.

@sterndata My theme is having a sidebar left.php file, due to which it is showcasing primary navigation as sidebar navigation on the entire website except the homepage. So I want to disable it and display primary navigation in the header only.

The plugin “widget context” lets you define the pages on which individual widgets do (or do not) appear.
