    Hi There,

I’ve searched all over but can’t seem to find the answer to this one. Is there any way of completely disabling the PayPal Minicart Smart Button but still have it display on the main cart page? I’ve unchecked the minicart customise button in settings thinking this would disable it but it still appears.

I know I can hide the button with CSS but the PayPal code will still load on every single page due to the minicart. I don’t want the button to be loaded at all until the user gets to the cart/checkout stage.

    Thanks,
    Gordon

    Hi @gferguson78 ,

There isn’t an inbuilt setting to selectively disable PayPal buttons on certain pages/sections of the site.

If you’re trying to optimize the site, then I recommend taking a look at plugins that allow selective loading, and then you would be able to disable PayPal Checkout entirely from pages other than checkout, cart and product pages. I recommend googling for “WordPress selectively load plugins”

    I hope this helps!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
