• hi, I was trying to shorten the process of registering new users and I was wondering why there are no options to choose if an user may insert directly his password instead of generating a random one and than have to change it by the url in the email sent by the system. Am I missing something or is it possible?

    Hi there,

    For security and validation reasons, uCare now auto-registers the user, then sends them a link to verify & set a password. This was done in efforts to shorten the signup process, and remove the password field. Additionally, uCare used to auto-generate a password and send it via email, that was also changed in uCare v1.7.0.

    version 1.7 was a complete change to the signup flow and logic, if you have this version, then this is how it works. There’s no option to change that.

    Best regards

    I am looking with interest at your plugin, and I would like to buy the Pro version but, I tried to see the registration workflow and it seems to be complicated enough…
    First I received this email:

    Welcome to the Smartcat Solutions Inc support system.
    This email is a confirmation of your registration to our support system. You can begin creating support tickets and tracking your existing tickets through our support portal on https://support.smartcatdesign.net/.

    Here are your credentials:
    Username:
    Password:
    LOGIN NOW{%password%}

    It is confusion about NO CREDENTIALS received…
    The second email I received is ok, now I can set up my password. But there is confusing for customers…Could you simplify in a way the registration process and do not create any clues with the first email?
