    Hi

I would very much like to use your beautiful theme, but one immediate problem I see is the main menu items & the search bar in top menu are too long & so it breaks into a second line, which however does not look good.

Is there any way to disable this search bar?

Secondly, I see 3 options for the slideshow:

    1. enable
    2. enable in homepage
    3. disable

I do not quite understand option 2, which I thought means you enable the slideshow, but it only works on the front page.

In my case, “enable” enables the slideshow on ALL pages but “enable in homepage” on NO PAGE, just like “disable”.

So it seems there is a bug somewhere.

Thirdly, is it possible to disable the author’s & post date? This is fine with a blog post, but in case the theme is used for another purpose, it does not look OK. In case it is possible, I would appreciate being shown where to disable it.

    I would appreciate some help.

    Regards

    Hi xprt007,
To the first question, it can’t be removed as there is no option, but don’t worry ,there will be one to turn it off or configure it in another way soon.

    And to the second question,

In my case, “enable” enables the slideshow on ALL pages but “enable in homepage” on NO PAGE, just like “disable”.

You mean it doesn’t work in your homepage ? (sorry for my poor english, I don’t quite understand this.) Could you please provide more detailed infomation about this issue ? (such as what have you done to configure the homepage, what changes have you made recently)

Next to the 3rd one, I think it’s quite a common feature in both blog and other website, but I will think it over as you point it out here.

Thanks for your questions and be free to ask anthing here. ??

Hi xprt007, you can hide the author’s & post date by putting the following code to the CSS style textarea in the theme options page.

    .entry-meta .info-date,.entry-meta .info-author{none !important}
