Using Simple Membership plugin, SWPM Member Directory Listing, Simple Membership Form Shortcode, & Simple Membership After Login Redirection …

NEED TO: be able limit each membership levels access after they reach a certain limit.

ex: we want each membership level to see/view 1,000 listings/opportunities, but each level needs to have limited access to apply for those opportunities. So, lowest level could apply for 3 opportunities, and highest could apply for 15 or more opportunities.

We need each membership level’s chance to apply for more opportunities to be automatically disabled after they reach their limit though. So, if I’ve reached my 3 opportunities, my access would be disabled so I cannot apply for more. same thing for the higher membership levels too-we need their ability to apply disabled after they reach their limit.

How do we do it/is it possible using the aforementioned plugins, or do we need to switch to some woo-commerce-even though we’re not selling products, or other membership plugin- as someone else recommended?

I’ve contacted the plugin maker, but not yet heard back. Need to know ASAP if anyone knows please and thx.

Hi, could you provide an example of what you mean so that I can better understand what you are trying to achieve.

Do you have a shopping cart plugin installed in your site? I am asking you this because of the following comment.

How do we do it/is it possible using the aforementioned plugins, or do we need to switch to some woo-commerce-even though we’re not selling products, or other membership plugin- as someone else recommended?

    Thank you

I did provide an example. It’s for a client, and I’m not sure if she’s using a shopping cart. trying to get more info from her, but her site’s unavailable just now due to an unexpected site transfer she just did…

Anyway, she wants all membership levels to access the same 1000 opportunities which they can apply for. However, each membership level needs to be limited to applying for a certain amount, then have their application access disabled for the rest of the month. ex: lowest level can apply for 3 jobs/opportunities, but can still see the other 997 opportunities. We need their ability to apply for any more after those 3 disabled. Next level might be able to apply for ten gigs, then their access needs auto-disabled so they cannot apply for anymore even though they can still see the remaining 990 gigs there.

Can we disable their ability to apply for gigs- set a limit on applications for gigs per membership level using your plugins listed in my O.P.?? If so, how? If not, what do you recommend doing instead?

Hi, unfortunately this plugin might not do want you want. What this plugin allows you to do is as follow.

You can have different membership levels for example Free, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each membership level gives the member of that level certain access.

You can also use subscription buttons and renewal buttons. You can also provide limited access to expired accounts.

Let me know if the above can help you with what you want to do?

    Regards
