Disable on Woocommerce product pages

  • I cannot seem to get the option to disable Starbox on individual pages using the shortcode to work. I’ve tried inserting [starbox id=0] and [starbox id=”0″] in both body text blocks and shortcode blocks, but it keeps showing up! (Yes, I have enabled that setting)

    I’d particularly like to eliminate it from showing up on individual product pages in my shop, e.g. here: https://westerngeomancy.org/product/dirty-electricity-filters/ where it appears in both footer and sidebar!

    I really like the look of the author box, but this plugin seems very random in its workings.

    Hi,

    You should be able to select the post type for which you want Starbox to load.
    Settings > Starbox > Post Types.

    We will check again the shortcode and come with an update.

    I don’t see an option to specify post types in the settings dialogue. These are the settings as I have them:

    Visible in posts (yes) – Hide author box from custom post types (checked)
    Visible in pages (no)
    Show starbox with Top Star theme…. (no)
    Show the Open Graph Prifile… (yes)

    I figured out what was happening with the shop pages – it was a theme setting that was displaying author bio in the sidebar.

    There are still some posts I would like to disable it on however, and the [starbox id=”0″] does not work for me.
