What do you want users to see when they visit your site on their cell phone? Only a white page or a hint to please open the page on the desktop or the desktop version, which they can not see?

Btw. this is also a bad idea regarding the findability of your website. Google proceeds according to the motto “Mobile First”. A website that can’t be displayed on mobile is hardly shown at all in the search results. If necessary, it can also no longer be found at all.

What is the reason for your desire?

It looks really ugly with the mobile version – it overrides all the design work I’ve done and I want my site to look the same on mobile and desktop. The desktop version is responsive on mobile so I just want that to show and not this other version that I can’t change. The fonts and spacing is all different – it’s like a whole other site. I paid for the “sober” theme and that’s what I want to use.

It is not physically possible to display a desktop view on a mobile device. There is not enough space and resolution.

Then I would recommend you to contact the support for your theme, because this is responsible for the output on the different devices: https://themeforest.net/item/sober-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/18332889/support – besides, it is a commercial theme to which questions are not allowed here in the forum.

Okay, thank you. It is possible on my site, that’s why I want to do it. It shows as an option at the bottom of every page on my mobile – you can choose how to view it.

As @threadi indicated above, you will need to contact the theme developers to get around this issue – it sounds like the mobile view is something built into the theme. The mobile view could also be coming from a plugin, but it’s most likely a theme – either way, this isn’t something that is part of WordPress core itself, so contacting your theme developer will be the best place to start.

I figured it out. I deactivated jetpack and then realized it was the
WPtouch Mobile Plugin so deleted that.
