I have created a webshop using the Woocommerce theme Storefront. The desktop version is fine, but the mobile version is a mess. I would like to disable the mobile version of the site so that only the desktop version can be seen no matter what platform people use. Is there a way to do this?
    Thank you so much.

  • Hi there,

What you’re asking for is a non-responsive theme. Storefront, and its Child themes, are responsive themes. It can not be made non-responsive without completely recalculating the percentage-based widths and replacing them with px-based widths in the CSS and removing/merging all @media queries.

You can have this done, but it will have to be a custom job. You can have a developer do this, and we have a Customizations area at this link. Otherwise you can look at non-responsive themes – here is a list of some of the top theme providers for 2018, and see what they offer.

    Hi nixiack8
Thanks for your response, but starting from the bottom with a new theme or hiring a developer is not really an option.
I have already figured out how to use the additional CSS funtion by finding the CSS’s I needed around the internet, so I’d be very prepared to go that way.
I have created a new topic on how to fix the things I’m dissatisfied with and there’s also a link to the page. Would you mind having a look at that? ??
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi @annawwww,

I have responded to your thread on the items not quite looking right on mobile, but just in case I will place it here too ??

Often the CSS that is placed can cause the issue in question, so please take out the CSS that you have placed in and see if the mobile version corrects itself. If it does, place the CSS one bit at a time and see what the mobile side does. Once it starts looking awry, feel free to place the CSS in the other thread and we can take a look.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
