Disable Mobile Theme

  • Hi. I am wondering how I can disable the mobile theme. I am just wanting the desktop view to show up on mobile as I prefer that layout much more.

    kinda long go in to your theme css and every where you find “@media” change the numbers to 0 or 1, I would put everything on the custom style sheet. I would also using the inspect element tool, to help find them.

    Do you know how to do this?

    why would you want to disable mobile?

    I just like the layout better for the desktop view but most of my views are coming from mobile devices. I would prefer they saw the desktop view only.

    if there is one thing that will make someone not want to browse a website on their mobile device its pinching and zooming and trying to make sense of something that wasn’t meant to be seen on a phone. I personally would not recommend changing your mobile theme from being mobile.

    Desktop sites were meant to be viewed on desktops. At the end of the day though it is your site. that is just my thoughts.
