Disable marker zoom

  • Is it possible to disable the zoom function of the markers? I know I can set the zoom of the markers to the same value as the map load zoom which works fine until the user zooms in on the map using the zoom controls. From there if the user clicks a marker it zooms back out to the default zoom, then when you close the info box for that marker the map zooms back in to the zoom value the user was viewing before clicking the marker.

    I need do disable any effect the markers have on zoom, is this possible?

    PS – I do have full FTP access to my site, I am a developer with a decent handle of java etc.

    I’ve spoken with our devs – it’s not possible to do it with the settings available in Hero Maps at this point. We will investigate the possibility of adding a specific switch to the plugin which will disable the auto-zooming function and roll it out with a future update of the plugin.
