For our product “Simon Sinek,” we are using the “Link” payment gateway. Link provides a feature that enables users to make quicker payments by using their previously used email. However, an issue arises when a user updates their email to the same one previously used — a pop-up appears asking the user to enter an OTP via the Link plug-in. We would like to permanently disable this pop-up so it no longer appears when editing the email. Unfortunately, we have not found an option to turn off this feature.

Please take the necessary steps to resolve this issue. We look forward to your response.

    Hi @webmastersimonsinek ,

It looks like you’re trying to completely disable Link Payment on your checkout page. By default, there isn’t an option to control this setting directly within the Stripe Payment Gateway plugin. This change needs to be made from your Stripe account.

    • Please navigate to your Stripe Dashboard using this link, and look for “Link.”
    • You should find the option to turn it off, as shown in the screenshot below:

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hii @jonayedhosen

You are mentioning the thing that stopping entire Payment gateway method.

    We want as below:

Current behavior: When a user enters an email address into the email field, an OTP (One-Time Password) popup appears instantly, regardless of whether the email is registered or not.

Desired behavior: We want to disable the OTP popup entirely, so that the email field functions as a simple input field. No OTP request or popup should appear when the user enters an email.

    Hello webmastersimonsinek,

    Thank you for the clarification.

I want to revisit your initial message.

However, an issue arises when a user updates their email to the same one previously used

Could you clarify, what you mean here?
Is the user changing the email address that is stored in the Link?

Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.

    Best regards.

    Hi @doublezed2

I just want to disable the link popup which asks for 6 digit code when a user enters email address in the checkout form. But the Link payment should be there at the top of the checkout form.

    Thanks
