Disable link in title

    Greetings. Currently, when user clicks the title of download, they get sent to a download detail page.

    Is there a current method to remove this link from the title, so user never gets taken to detail page?

    I tried the template modifications from old topics (2 years ago), but the modifications didn’t remove the link.

    Thank you for any suggestions.

    Try using template='link-template-default-old', but if you want to keep using the template you are using now, you need to edit the template, replace [page_link] with [title], please follow the doc here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but I had to edit link-template-default.php and put it in a new directory /child-theme/download-manager/link-templates/link-template-default.php

    Yes, that is what you need to do.

    Andrew can you help Im still stuck on fixing this issue i cant change it what do you change in that file and there are two instances of that file which one do you change?

    @shafayat-alam bro why cant you just add “disable or enable” option for each download to link to details page or not? everyone asking this you never giving solution always late to reply when customer already find out and i still need help
