Disable lang= X language or /en/ , /fr/

I would like to disable changing url when swtching to another language.

For example, when I user switch to French version, instead of changing URL to yourdomain. com/en or yourdomain .com/lang=en the url remains the same yourdomain .com

I know this does not have any benefit to SEO, but for the type of website I have, indexing translated URL will impact badly to my website, since most posts do not have much description, and translation will be the same.

Or there is a way to disable translated URL indexing to Google?
