Disable ip lookup

    Hi this is a clever plugin!

    Is it possible to disable the ip lookup function and set a deafult country instead. Many people are using VPN services or block some functions. Our customers are from one country only.

    …I was able to achieve this by changing “auto” to the preferred country in the script.js and script.min.js files. However, it would be nice if it could be added as an option.

    Thanks for your suggestion. I plan to add that feature in a future release. Right now I’m a little busy with several projects, but I will back to this later.

    Hello again @wipx,

    I just release the latest version of International Telephone Input for Contact Form 7 that includes a new option: Initial Country. Now you can set a initial country by default. When this option is set, the IP lookup feature will be disabled. See the changelog here.

    To add this option to an existent form-tag, just put the initialCountry parameter with the two-letter country code of your initial country this way:

    [intl_tel your-phone initialCountry:us]

    You also can add a new international telephone input using the form tag generator:

    That is amazing, it works really well! I think it makes the plugin even more versatile.
