Hi, you may notice that the visibility of other elements such as an image’s caption are also not controlled via SLB’s options. This is because the selected theme controls which elements are displayed in the lightbox.

That said, you can indeed hide the image count simply by deleting the text for the “Slideshow status format” option in SLB’s settings.

First of all don’t mark this as resolved as you have not heard my reply. I did that already before I posted the first comment. But your plugin still slides the white box at the bottom of the image up and down with nothing in it. This is annoying the hell out of my customers and looks unprofessional. Why is it doing that when I have removed everything from “Slideshow status format”. That’s ridiculous.

Hi, it sounds like you’re using the lightbox on image links without captions and descriptions, as the lightbox should not be sliding down any further than those elements. If this is not the case, please provide a link to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take a closer look.

I’ll look into optimizing the default theme when captions, etc. are empty in a future update, so thank you for the feedback. You can also create a custom theme to fully customize all aspects of the lightbox.

Here is a tutorial on creating a custom lightbox theme, and here is a tutorial on customizing the lightbox’s layout for your theme.
