Disable Gutenberg tips

  • The tooltip in Gutenberg keeps showing everytime a user creates a post, even after clicking ‘Disable Tips’. How to show it to a user only for the first time? Or not show it at all?

    Hi there,

    Have you tried disabling it within the Options? The Options is a dropdown with a Gear icon, please click this. Under “General” you will see an option, “Enable Tips”. Please make sure this is unselected so the tips will no longer show up when accessing the editor.

    I see a gear icon at the right in “add new post” page. It is named “Settings”, not “Options”. And there is no “General” or “Enable Tips” under it.
